Our placemats are made of hand-spun, handwoven mulberry fibre with natural dyes by Tai Lao artisans in Vientiane Province. The diamond motif is traditional yet contemporary and they come in a variety of subtle hues sure to match any decor!

Mulberry trees are prevalent in Laos, and mulberry leaves are the favoured food of silkworms. Mulberry paper has long been used in the country, but mulberry fibre has only recently been employed as a textile material.

Check out the matching set of drink coasters to complete your table!
